I understand that as a country our deficit is out of control. I am not happy with a budget that will slash programs for the poor and while the Bush Tax cuts are intact. There is no reason for us to spend as much as we do on defense, cut the budget in half. End the two unnecessary wars, and think about closing some of our overseas bases. I am also tired of Medicare & Medicaid, why not get rid of those two super expense programs for a universal single payer health plan that offers health care for all Americans. American is no the country that it used to be, we need to invest in our infrastructure and invest in our future. Technologically and educationally we are falling behind the rest of the industrialized world, our health care sucks, but hey we can always fall back on the fact that, we live in American, the greatest country in world. God bless us and no one else!!
